Kim Sang was born on July 7, 1989, in Seoul, South Korea. His parent’s names are Min-ho Bum and Jerry respectively. Kim has three siblings, and he is the oldest. He was raised in Seoul along with his sister and brother. Kim also spent some time living in Australia with his family.
He was a strong striker for his school’s football team, where he played and served as captain. His father preferred that he focus on his education, while his mother encouraged him in sports.
Kim Sang performed well academically in high school and intended to pursue acting as a career. He enrolled in Cung-and University, where he studied film and theater, to pursue his goal. Kim participated in university cultural programs during his student years to gain first-stage experience.

Kim made his acting debut in a small part in the family comedy sitcom “High Kick” in 2008.
Later the same year, as part of the MBC network’s jubilee special, he performed an honorable performance in the television drama “East of Eden.”
