In August 2007, Im Yoon became a member of the girl group Girls’ Generation (and later its subgroup Girls’ Generation-Oh! GG) after five years of training. Yoon was born on May 30, 1990, in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Along with her older sister, she was raised completely by her father. She is a follower of Christ. Yoona was selected in the 2002 SM Saturday Open Casting Audition. She started acting, singing, and dancing classes with the other students at S.M. Entertainment.

Firstly, her career began in 2007, with the release of the first self-titled album by her band, “Girls’ Generation”. Next, songs like “Into the New World,” “Girls’ Generation,” “Baby Baby,” and “Tinker Bell” were among the toppers.
