Early Life of Yoo Ji
Yoo Ji was born on April 13th, 1976 in South Korea’s Sinan County, South Jeolla Province. He was brought up by a single mother who had previously been a nurse. His mother’s name is Kim Bong-hee, yet we did not find much about his father.
As roommates in college and for a brief time onstage, he and comedian Kim Joon-ho became friends. His desire to learn acting as a school student led him to join a local theater. He also studied ramp modeling, and at the age of 19, he received his first modeling job with SFAA. He received increasingly more modeling opportunities due to his gigantic 6′ 11″ height.
Yoo Ji graduated with his master’s degree from the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Technology, Multimedia, and Cinema at Chung-Ang University in 2008. Also, he studied in the graduate social work program at the Catholic University of Korea.

Career of Yoo Ji
Yoo Ji Began his acting debut in the 1998 film Bye June. He gained popularity very quickly because of his incredible acting. A year later, the film Assault the Gas Station, for which he was recognized as a rising star, was nominated for the Best New Actor Award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
He had a significant part in Hur Jin ho’s film One fine spring day. However, he received much praise for his acting in this film despite it not being a huge hit with audiences. Then, Yoo is talented not just as an actor but also as a director and screenwriter. His award-winning short film The Bike Boy was his maiden effort as a director.
In addition, Yoo appeared in the movie Split, which had a bowling theme, in 2016. In The Good Wife’s South Korean remake, he returned to television. Additionally, Yoo and Hyun Bin co-starred in The Swindlers in 2017. Moreover, he played the lead in the criminal TV show Mad Dog. Moreover, BH Entertainment, a new management company, welcomed Yoo in January 2018.
