Early Life Of Ro

Min-kyung was born in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, South Korea on July 29, 1997. Her full birth name is Kim Min-Kyung. Her previous name was Roa, meaning “becoming a beautiful person.” We don’t know anything about her parents or other relatives.

Roa attended Sillim Kindergarten and Seoul Nanhyang Elementary School, where she received her elementary education. She went to Gaewon Middle School briefly after transferring from Nanwoo Middle School.

Career Of Roa

In 2016, Minkyung and five other trainees from her company, Pledis Entertainment, took part in Produce 101, a survival television program on Mnet. In episode 8, she was eliminated after placing 42nd.

2017–2019: PRISTIN

Pledis added Kim Min to PRISTIN in 2017. Kim Min performs under the stage name Roa. The group made its debut on March 21, 2017, with the release of the mini album Hey! PRISTIN and its lead single, “Wee Woo.”

One of the original members of PRISTIN V, the group’s first sub-unit, was Kim Min. It was established in 2018.
They debuted with the album “Like a V,” a single on May 28.

The agency announced PRISTIN was formally dissolved on May 24, 2019, following nearly two years of inactivity.
Moreover, it came to light that the organization had not renewed the contracts of seven out of the ten members, including Roa.

HINAPIA in 2019–2020
