Early Life of RM
Kim Nam entered the world on September 12, 1994, in Dongjak-gu, South Korea. At the age of four or five, his family relocated to Ilsan-gu. Kim Geong Min is his younger sister. During his time in primary school, he found himself fascinated by uniforms and dreamed of working as a security guard for a housing organization. RM was obsessed with studying English from a young age. He spent much of his childhood learning English with his mother.

Kim Nam begins his solo music career as “Runch Randa” at the beginning. He temporarily performed with the group “Zico” in 2008, which was one of South Korea’s emerging hip-hop artists at the time. He has worked with the Korean hip-hop group “Daenamhyup.”
