Grace Beverly was born on May 19, 1948, in Spanish Town, located in Jamaica. She grew up under the care of her grandparents. Her father’s name was Reverend Robert W. Jones, and her mother’s was Marjorie Jones. She had one child named Paulo Goude, and one brother named Noel Johns.

Grace Beverly got early education from Pentecostal All Saints School in Jamaica. Later on, she went to the United States with her family, and she learned Spanish at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York. In the end, she left college and started a career in modelling and singing.
