BenMallah was born in Queens, New York, on October 29, 1965, into an American family. He grew up in Rockaway Queens, New York’s projects.

BenMallah started out as a hustler when he was young. He began doing a range of things in his early adolescent years with the intention of becoming wealthy. He eventually started selling dr*gs to generate some extra cash.
But after a few years, that enterprise ended, and he enlisted in the army. He served his country in Germany as an army man. Because the soldiers could not find lodging, he became aware of real estate while serving in the military.
Serving as an intermediary, he gave other persons access to rental apartments. The landlord gave him a few hundred dollars in exchange. He spent a few years in Germany before being moved to Oakland, California.
