Career life of Andy Murray

Andy started playing tennis at the age of three when he went to local tennis courts with his mother. At the age of five, he participated in his first tournament. Due to his exceptional skills, he was playing against adults in the Central District Tennis League at the age of eight.

During his junior career, in 1999, Andy won the 12-year-old category in the Orange Bowl. In 2001, he won the European Winter Cup and also a title in Telford, finishing 2nd in ETA ranking for U14s. In September 2003, he won the Glasgow Futures event, his first senior title. In 2004, he won Futures events in Rome and Xàtiva. He won the Junior US Open, in September. Later, he won BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.

Andy Murray officially started his professional career from 2005 till 2024.
